The IXL Learning System is a web-based educational portal that provides K-12 personalized curriculum access in the following areas: English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Students engage in diagnostic-prescriptive learning that allows each student to work on the areas of the curriculum that he or she needs to learn.

IXL provides toolkits for educators and families, individualized learning plans, skill development activities, and assessment of students’ understanding.

Baseline will enroll each student into the IXL database, administer a pre-assessment or begin the tutoring process based on teachers’ recommendations, and the assigned tutor will engage each student in understanding the skill being taught in the IXL activities.
